Rooflights and Aesthetics – Some Common Concerns

Most people agree that rooflights help improve aesthetics indoors. More light, a brighter appearance, a more natural finish – these are undeniable features that will help improve aesthetics. But some people are concerned about how rooflights will look from the outside. There are definitely ways around it though, so there is no need to worry.

If your concern is that rooflights might be too invasive, think about a flat glass rooflight. This will sit low to the roof, and often, you will barely be able to see it from the outside. It will also give very good views from the inside because the flat glass finish allows you to have more panoramic views of the sky.

If you don’t want your rooflight to blend in, use it to make a statement. Something like a roof lantern or a pyramid will look great and won’t make it look like you are trying to hide a rooflight.
